There is a £15.00 delivery charge for orders under £250.00.


This means that all orders over £250 are delivered free of charge. That’s right, no carriage or delivery charge at all. That’s all part of getting true trade prices on everything.


All orders received before 3pm will be processed and sent to our distribution centre the same day.


We’ll always aim to deliver to you within 4 days of you placing an order.  If it’s going to take longer we’ll contact you by email.


On all orders, you will get a confirmation of your preferred delivery address with your order confirmation.


Our delivery service for Ceramics can deliver to England and Wales only at present.


Returns and exchanges


If you’re not happy with your purchase, for any reason, we offer a 14 day no quibble returns policy. Return your product to us and we’ll refund you.


If you need to return your products outside of the 14 day period you will need to contact us on 02380 769 112 or  Goods can still be returned based on the charges and “things to note” below.


Before returning your items, please complete the returns section of your delivery note. If you don't have this, you can request a returns form.


*Collection & redelivery fees apply. Please see “Charges” section below. We can't accept returns or exchanges for products that have been used or installed.


Damaged Goods


Whilst all our products pass strict quality standards and our ceramic products are shipped via a special hand delivery service, on very rare occasions you may find an item arrives damaged.


Please make sure you take time to inspect your goods as soon as you receive them and let us know within 48 hours of receipt if an item is damaged, by calling us on 02380 769 112 or sending an email to Once the damage has been confirmed, we’ll ensure its replaced free of charge immediately.


Photos may be required to confirm damage.  These are required prior to installation as no refund or replacement can be arrange once the goods have been installed.




We won't charge you a restocking fee for returning your products inside the 14 day period, but we reserve the right to charge you the transportation costs associated with the return. This will depend on the size, weight and type of item(s) being returned.


  • If the items being returned can be sent by parcel service, we can arrange for a collection or send you a prepaid postage label if you wish. The charge for this will be £10.00. Alternatively you may return your items by Royal Mail parcel service to our returns address and pay the cost of the return directly to Royal Mail.


  • If your items aren't suitable for the parcel service, we'll arrange for our own vans or a suitable courier service to collect the products from you. The charge for this will be a minimum of £40.00.


  • If there was a surcharge on your original delivery (due to additional transport costs), we'll have to apply a similar charge to your collection. This will be charged at the applicable rate at the time of collection.


  • If you are exchanging an unwanted item, you will also be required to pay the delivery cost of your new item


  • Items that we agree can be returned outside of the 14 day period will have a 30% re-stocking charge applied to them


  • We reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of up to 30% on products returned within the 14 day period


Just a few things to note


  • Refunds will not be issued for "special items", these are items that have to be ordered in at the customers request.  These products will be shown on your invoice, quote, order confirmation or delivery paperwork with a code starting "ZZ-".  If you have any question or doubt relating to whether or not one of your products is a “special item” please speak to us immediately for clarification.


  • Refunds will not be issued for items that have been opened and are not in re-saleable condition (ie: any defect in the packaging, however minor.  This includes torn packaging and writing or labels on the packaging.


  • Refunds will not be issued for items returned missing parts including fitting instructions


  • Refunds will not be issued for items that have been installed or altered in any way.


  • We can't accept returns in person at our warehouse.


  • We'll always try to issue refunds as soon as possible and, at most, within 14 days of receiving your returned items.


  • Your statutory rights are not affected.

At Trade Base we strive to offer our customers first class service and products at competitive prices. In order to uphold our Price Promise to not be beaten on price, we actively monitor the prices offered by our competitors daily and adjust our own pricing accordingly.


If you find a cheaper price we'll match it.


Simply send us a print out, screen shot or a link to a competitor’s site with a lower cost to, ensuring, date and price are shown and we will match the competitor price if within policy.


Terms & Conditions


  • The competitor's item must be identical (colour, size etc)


  • The competitor's item must be in stock at the time of match


  • The competitor's price must include delivery


  • The competitors price must be publically advertised online and cannot include any membership/personal discounts


  • We cannot match bulk promotional offers such as buy one get one free


  • The competitor must be based in the UK and sell direct to customers (no auction or marketplace retailers)


  • No other promotional offers or vouchers can be used on top of a price match


  • We will not match against clearance, closing down sales or specialist retailers such as market stalls.

When will I receive an order confirmation?

After placing an order with tradebase, either on or via email, you will receive an order confirmation after the payment has been processed. This order will have confirmation of items ordered, prices and delivery address along with your unique order reference for your records.


Can I edit my delivery address or add addresses?


To add, edit or change delivery addresses, please login to your account, using the login function on the top right hand corner of the site to access your account. Once there, follow the on screen instructions to change or edit your delivery addresses.


Can I cancel, edit or change my order?
